12000 steps & intermittent fasting: Day 3 - At Home
Will it work?
I‘m home and I drove to work today. Felt a bit weak before 13:00, when I started eating. Now it‘s 18:00 and I already started the next fasting period. Because I feel pretty satiated with what I have eaten today.
And I finally had a matcha oat latte!! I missed that.
Now I‘ll work again a bit. Today we had a cleaning day at home, everything looks way better. Also the kitchen.
My kids are here and I very much enjoy their presence.

Well, well, well. It‘s midnight and yes, I managed to finish my steps 5‘ before the new day. I feel accomplished, and very tired. All the rest, tomorrow.

😴 Sleep duration & quality: 6,27 hours. Still too short.
📍 Where I walked: shopping in the afternoon, park in the night.

🕒 Time slot of walk(s): afternoon and late at night.
🎧 What I was doing while walking (calls, shows, etc.): going through food stores, having a matcha oat latte, a short phone call and watching movies.
🎒 Walking ideas / improvements (e.g. accessories, mood, setup): this was way too late at night. My Park is normally safe but I didn‘t feel so at ease. I‘ll sure walk earlier in the day.
💭 Thoughts I had while walking: mostly asking myself why I left it for literally the last minute. Interestingly, not one minute did I regret starting this challenge. It was more like: „I don‘t want to give up on the 3rd day!!! I can do this!“
🎹 Did I get to the piano today? Unfortunately again not. I did drive to work though.
🥗 What I ate (vegan/non-vegan, dish types, hunger level): let‘s see. I cooked today. But before that, I started with some delicious raspberries, blueberries and half of an apple. My throat felt weird before and a bit after I started eating. Then I made oven veggies (zucchini, potatoes, orange and yellow and purple carrots), an oven omelette with some Gouda cheese, basil and more egg yolks than egg whites (there‘s a story with that, my son had some egg whites and I wanted to use the remaining egg yolks), and some wanna-be beef burger (which I won‘t try again very soon.) I also had a small bowl of green lettuce and another one with baby spinach, no dressing. A glas of lemonade (aka water and lemon, no sugar or honey). A piece of Guglhupf (that‘s an Austrian cake) which didn‘t really impress me, so I took some tea spoons of my mother‘s raspberry jam as well. Then later I had one of the wanna-be burger patties - not so bad, but definitely no burger either. More like a - gathering of fried minced meat? (Sigh) At least the meat was organic. As almost everything else. I also had some mustard with the meat. And I also had the matcha oat latte.
⏳ Fasting window: 18 hours. I got food at 13:00. Stopped eating at 17:00.
💧 Water intake (approx.): probably over 2 litres. I hope so. I need some system to measure that.

⚖️ Weight (if known): 68,4 kg in the morning. Seems something is moving,.
🩸 Cycle day / phase (if known): luteal phase
🪞 Body changes noticed (e.g. digestion, skin, tension): skin all right, heart didn‘t beat crazy like yesterday. The feeling weak episode before lunch was bearable, I was driving and then only had about half an hour to wait, and I had the chance to lie down a bit. No headache.
📈 Sentiment of productivity and happiness (1–10): 9
⛰️ Biggest challenge today: serious heat outside.
🌱 Smallest win today: got further with work. Feeling happy about that.
🙏 Gratitude moment: I spent some really nice connecting moments with my kids. My oldest daughter is helping with my work. That means a lot to me.
🔁 What I want to try/change tomorrow: find a reason to walk first thing in the morning. Night is for sleeping, not for sleep walking :)
