12000 steps & intermittent fasting: Day 4 - Hearings and Piano
Hello everyone.
It‘s been a good day today.
Right now I feel the warm water around my tired body in the God-bless-this-bathtub, and also writing on my iPad at the same time. Today, I managed to fill my 12k before getting dark. I must admit that I took a break while marching through the park - I felt really tired. We have temperatures of about 35 degrees or more here, hence making it almost impossible to walk during the day without getting too much sun.
I‘ve been working today, conducting hearings and some administrative work. Still, I managed to get at the piano in the evening, after feeling inspired by listening to Martha Argerich‘s Rachmaninov 3 on the way to work and back. It‘s still a commute of one hour per direction. So I have plenty of time to listen to music.
But now I‘ll stop. Maybe the biggest thing today was my low blood pressure. I haven‘t gotten such a good pressure in - months? I can‘t even remember when.
So let‘s assess:

📆 Date: Wednesday, 2nd of July 2025.
😴 Sleep duration & quality: I don‘t really know, my sensor got it wrong. In any case, I couldn‘t fall asleep until 2 am, then woke up at 6 and went back to sleep until 8:47. So I‘d say, about 6,5 hours.
📍 Where I walked: in the park.
🚶 Steps walked:
🕒 Time slot of walk(s): morning and evening before 9 pm.
🎧 What I was doing while walking (calls, shows, etc.): some phone calls, listening to an audio book watching movies and doing nothing but walk.
🎒 Walking ideas / improvements (e.g. accessories, mood, setup): all good.
💭 Thoughts I had while walking: I needed to sit down at some point because I felt too exhausted.
🎹 Did I get to the piano today? Yes!!!! And I loved it!
🥗 What I ate (vegan/non-vegan, dish types, hunger level): not much. Started with a matcha oat latte at 12 pm, then had some blueberries at work, the some bread with cream cheese, cherry tomatoes, some cucumber, a bit of cheese cake and that was it. I don‘t really feel hungry! That‘s amazing. I just feel weak about two hours before eating again. I can‘t eat a big quantity of anything.
⏳ Fasting window: 18 hours. I got food at 12:00. Stopped eating at 18:00. I should remember taking some vitamins in the food window.
💧 Water intake (approx.): not enough!! How can I really make it to drink 2,5 liters?! I really can‘t fathom. A bottle?
🩺 Blood pressure (if known): measured in the morning - 128/88/70!!!!! YES!!!!!! That‘s great. I used to be over 150/100.
⚖️ Weight (if known): 68 kg in the morning.
🩸 Cycle day / phase (if known): my period is probably arriving.
🪞 Body changes noticed (e.g. digestion, skin, tension): skin all right, heart a bit fast after eating. Weaker sight? I don’t know. No headache.
📈 Sentiment of productivity and happiness (1–10): 9
⛰️ Biggest challenge today: so tired!
🌱 Smallest win today: I have energy for everything I want to do, without coffee. Great.
🙏 Gratitude moment: learning a lot about endurance and resilience from my son. He‘s been watching his sport and eating healthy for a while now.
🔁 What I want to try/change tomorrow: take my vitamins.
